This "Island Secret" is nestled only 900 feet from the Jamestown's most popular swimming beach, "Mackerel Cove" where you can peak at several summer "cottages" along the rugged cove leading to the open Atlantic ocean. You will unwind in the luxury and total privacy of this new "Coastal Cottage Loft" villa situated among mature landscaping with magnificent cedar trees, huge rhododendron and other beautiful plantings. Your accommodations include a completely private entrance for both bedrooms, private parking and beautifully landscaped grounds which accent this exclusive island hideaway. There are two separate bedrooms - a comfortable Queen Bedroom and a convenient Twin Bed Bedroom - each with their own outside access door.  Each bedroom has its own large HD TV while enjoying a full kitchen and bathroom as well as a magnificent private outdoor shower. 

For your protection and peace of mind, we will secure your "Booking" by forwarding, a rental agreement confirming your dates and other important information. It will require obtaining your email address as well as a copy of your driver license or state issued ID card.

An ideal summertime retreat, Jamestown is located directly across the bay from Newport, RI and surrounded by the cool, clear waters of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy a scenic walk to Jamestown's Town Center revealing the beautiful, picturesque harbor and marina with the iconic Newport Bridge in the background. Once at the Harbor, you can view all of the beautiful boats and private yachts, stroll to several restaurants and shops and Jamestown's own Brewery. Of course you can take a short ride on the Jamestown-Newport Ferry across the bay to Newport with Hop-On Hop-Off stops at the Rose Island Lighthouse, Fort Adams, the downtown Ann Street Pier and Perrotti Park. This is the most convenient and pleasurable way to access Newport while avoiding bridge tolls and the hassle of locating parking downtown. 

While on the Ferry, enjoy a cool cocktail and experience an unforgettable tour of Newport Harbor, the famous summer home to magnificent yachts from around the world. Of course no visit is complete without a walk along Bellevue Avenue to visit its many quaint shops and view or tour the historic mansions built by the industrialist tycoons of the "Gilded Age".

A special feature of our location is the ability to take a 3 minute walk to the Town Beach at Mackerel Cove because parking is restricted to residents-only on busy days and weekends. Our Coastal Cottage Loft offers our guests a peaceful and serene experience providing a unique privacy of being set back from the road on a half-acre site with stunning and mature landscaping of exotic trees and plantings.
